Waiting For Stable iOS 9 Update? Mark Your Calendar For September 16th, 2015
It’s that time of the year where every iPhone / iPad user wants to know this:
- When can I download iOS 9 on my phone?
- How do I get iOS 9 on my iPhone?
- Where do I get iOS 9 for free?
- Did Apple already release iOS 9?
- Is iOS 9 free or paid?
Believe it or not, that last question was asked recently on a forum. It may be surprising for some of us, but let’s make it clear:
Apple iOS 9 is a free update available for all the iPhones, iPads and iPod Touches listed in our compatibility page.
It doesn’t matter where you are located – US, UK, Australia, New Zealand, China, India, Pakistan, UAE, or any part of the world… every new iOS update is made available at no cost whatsoever!
Now, let’s go back to the question. In fact, let’s keep this simple:
Apple will release iOS 9 update on September 16th.
Apple has announced (there is a difference between announcement and release) that iOS 9 firmware will be released for download starting September 16th, 2015.
So mark your calendar, backup your devices, and get ready to download iOS 9 in the next week.
It is also important to tell you that iOS 9 betas are already available, along with iOS 9 GM versions. Should you get them? Well, these are made-for-developers, and a consumer should never install them on their iPhones / iPads.
What you – as a consumer – should get is the final iOS 9.0 firmware (it is a stable version with less bugs and lags).
