Boxlight MimioStudio
An interactive whiteboard drawing made with Boxlight MimioStudio—a tool used by educators and students—is called an INK file.
The Mimio Notebook tool in MimioStudio creates INK files.
The Mimio Notebook tool that comes with Boxlight MimioStudio can be used to open an INK file.
Open the Mimio Notebook (INK) file and choose the Save option to convert it to a different file format.
Pen strokes can be saved in INK files and then redrawn using trace functions.
An image produced with the vector art program Inker can also be found in an INK file.
Images from Inker can be exported as .PNG, .SVG, or .EPS files using INK files.
With Inker, which is accessible as a web application and on Chrome, Android, and MacOS devices, you can open an INK file (Inker Image).
You can open INK files in any text editor because they are simply text files.
Windows Ink
Let’s investigate desktop ink.
With Windows Ink, you can write and draw on your computer screen using a digital pen or your finger.
But this software isn’t just for doodling; it can also be used to edit text, annotate Sticky Notes, and take screenshots of your desktop, which you can then annotate, crop, and publish.
You’ll need a more recent touch screen device running the most recent version of Windows 10 in order to use Windows Ink.
Because tablets are so portable and maneuverable, Windows Ink appears to be the most popular among users at the moment; however, any compatible device will function.
On more recent Microsoft Surface tablets, Windows Ink is turned on by default.
Simply tap or click the Windows Ink Workspace Icon located on the right end of the Taskbar to open the built-in apps that come with the software.
With Windows Ink, you can use the most widely used Microsoft 365 apps.
