Let’s examine the reasons behind On My Block’s cancellation.
The reason for the show’s cancellation, though not officially stated, has nothing to do with its level of popularity.
It probably has to do with finances.
The Hollywood Reporter reported in January 2021 that the main cast had renegotiated their pay per episode.
The fourth and final season of the show will conclude, as Netflix had previously announced this year.
Fortunately, the fourth and final season will feature the return of all of our favorites.
Freeridge, a spinoff program, is currently in development.
A brand-new set of pals will be introduced by Freeridge to the On My Block universe.
Let’s discuss whether anyone from On My Block makes an appearance in Freeridge.
In addition to Blow, who is portraying a new role, Garcés is directing Episode 6 and is one of four On My Block actors reprising their previous roles in Freeridge.

When Ruben discovers that a woman who resembles his mother is running around Freeridge, he is horrified and unsettled. He and Geny join the Core Four in their quest to unravel the identity of this mysterious twin after spotting her around town.

In On My Block, Ikwuakor consistently provided humor as the strict yet loving father of his quirky son Jamal (Brett Gray). Anticipate more of his comedic skills in Freeridge, where he plays Dwayne, the owner of a BBQ shop, once more.
