How to install Adobe Digital Editions UTPL

Installing Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) allows you to read eBooks that you’ve downloaded on your computer and sync them with eReaders that are compatible. Please review Adobe’s system requirements to find out what you need in order to install Adobe ADE.

How to set up:

  1. Click DOWNLOAD after visiting the Adobe Digital Editions website.
  2. Choose SAVE FILE after clicking the download link for the necessary Windows version of ADE.
  3. Locate and launch the installer file after the download is finished. Choose RUN.
  4. To finish the installation, adhere to the setup wizard’s instructions.
  5. If you wish to use ADE to read these kinds of eBooks, make sure you leave the ASSOCIATE .ACSM AND .EPUB FILE TYPES option selected.
  6. You might be given the option to MIGRATE DATA from the previous version of ADE to the current one if it was previously installed. Your old eBooks are imported into the new ADE through data migration.
  7. To start ADE and end the setup, click DONE.
  8. If you are new to using ADE, kindly finish the Adobe authorization.
  9. Make sure to remove the previous version of ADE before installing the latest one if you’re updating it rather than installing it for the first time.

NOTE: You shouldn’t have to reauthorize ADE with your Adobe ID or OverDrive account if you’ve previously used it on your computer. Try clearing your authorization and then reauthorizing ADE, though, if you’re having problems downloading or transferring eBooks.
