How to configure the Internet connection in Windows 7

After selecting START, select CONTROL PANEL.
Select the Network and Internet option from the CONTROL PANEL window.
Click Network and Sharing Center in the Network and Internet window.
Click SET UP A NEW CONNECTION OR NETWORK under CHANGE YOUR NETWORKING SETTINGS in the NETWORK AND SHARING CENTER window.
Click to choose MANUALLY CONNECT TO A WIRELESS NETWORK from the SET UP A CONNECTION OR NETWORK window, and then click the NEXT button.
Enter the correct network name, security type, encryption type, and security key in the MANUALLY CONNECT TO A WIRELESS NETWORK window.
Make sure the "Start This Connection Automatically" box is checked.
You need to tick the box next to CONNECT EVEN IF THE NETWORK IS NOT BROADCASTING if you have to manually configure your wireless network because the router isn’t broadcasting the SSID.
Select the CLOSE button located in the SUCCESSFULLY ADDED window.
After following this process, if you are still unable to connect to the wireless network, make sure the Network name (SSID), Security type, Encryption type, and Security key are accurate, then repeat the process.
