Words With Friends Unusable, Freezes in iOS 9

As you play Words With Friends on your iPhone / iPad, the game freezes and doesn’t respond. It also crashes and doesn’t allow you to move the tiles anymore.

This problem appears on devices running iOS 9.0 firmware.

Karen on Twitter (link) notified us of the “freezing” issue that appears when you use Words With Friends. And on further investigation, we saw plenty of users unhappy with this problem.

Words With Friends even crashes when you launch it, making it almost unusable. As many users have pointed out, the app keeps freezing whenever you want to move a tile and it is a major problem that needs to be addressed:

Temporary fix at this point is to reload or relaunch the game once again.
